Lakeside Rendezvous rehearsing “Roll River Roll”
In my Life
One of my favorite Beatles songs.
Old Soul
Thea Gilmore wrote this beautiful Song. My version was recorded basically using Cubase SX, Studio Projects B1 & C1 Microphones through Tube Preamps.
Instruments used: Acoustic Guitar Guild D40, Acoustic Bass, Drumset and assortet brasilian and algerian Percussion Instruments.
Ticket Taker
Another one i had to record. The song was written by “The Low Anthem”. I really like this group.
Instruments used were: Acoustic Guitar, Double Bass & Dobro. Original H1N1 voice (i’m better, thanks).
Rita did most of the filming, i did the editing.
The Lower Road
Since i couldn’t get Thea Gilmore’s “The Lower Road” out of my head anymore, i had to record it myself. I had to create my own version of it. It turned out to be sort of a self-therapy…and what can i say, it helped.
The whole thing was recorded using Cubase SX on a Phase88 internal interface. All signals went through tube preamps (real tubes). Microphones were Studio Projects C1 & B1.
Instruments: Acoustic Guitar Guild D25 (My favorite), Music Man Sting Ray 4-String Bass & Ampeg Amp, Ibanez Semi-Acoustic Electric Guitar, Jay.T Squareneck Dobro, Yamaha Drums.
Just like in “Old Soul”, Rita did most of the filming, i did the editing.
Paris 2008
